It weighs little bit higher approx 2.8 pounds (1.29kg) (as compared to the 2.75 pounds (1.25kg) weight of macbook air 2019 model).
The new macbook air 2020 comes with only two Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) and an audio jack. Apple has replaced the new magic keyboard (the most welcome change ) which was first seen on the 16-inch macbook pro.

Performance- Here we will be using the base model of macbook air, probably many people will go for this which is dual core intel i3 chipset.
The base model of macbook air 2020 comes with core i3 10th gen, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB PCIe SSD and other higher variant comes with core i5 10th gen and core i7 10th gen with 16GB RAM and 512 GB SSD.
Display wise nothing has changed much since last year model. It comes with 13.3 inch retina display with LED backlighting, IPS technology and resolution 2560 x 1600 for over 4 million pixel which results 227 pixel per inch density for sharp image quality.
Keyboard- New macbook air comes with magic keyboard which gives you comfortable and quiet typing experience and backlight key helps you to type in low light.
Camera – Face time camera is 720p which could have been better
Battery Life – apple claim new macbook air has 11 hrs battery life, we played 1080p video and it lasted for 9 hrs and 20 minutes which is quiet sufficient.

Our Verdict
New Macbook air has fixed a lot of things compare to previous model. The most welcome change is improved keyboard and more storage. Camera could have been better and battery life is average. If you’re a apple fan and looking for an affordable Macbook, we highly recommend the new macbook air 2020.
